Monday night football

Fall is in the air and hopefully the points will be on the board. I love football. We have season tickets to USM and the Saints- that is how much we love it- it consumes our weekends. I feel like this whole season has been a wash. I never really had a great time at any USM games and I have been to 2 Saints games so far. Tonight is a home Monday night football game. I have making up to do and I can't wait.

So for all the members of Saints Nation out there- Can I get a WHO DAT?

Up up and away... this is one of my favorite pictures taken during our trip to the Natchez Hot Air Balloon races. It is the view from the parking lot of our hotel. There were so many balloons. It was just cool enough to feel like fall at 7 am. The kids were amazed- and loved it.

Julia was all smiles and was happy to be out and about in the cool morning. She is always happy in the mornings. I don't know where she gets that - Joey and I are not morning people!



Probably not the best picture of Jillian- But she was pointing and was really excited about the balloons that seemed to be so close you could almost jump in the air and touch them.

Just a few more days and lots to do

Well we leave for Disney in less than a week. I have double checked all travel plans this AM- and I have started the packing list. We are all excited, but I just don't want to leave Julia. I know it is for the best, but.... it is still hard. A neighborhood baby born after her got a tooth yesterday- we still have no teeth. I bet the come in while we are gone. I feel like there is no way to get done all that has to be done before we can leave. Today- normal stuff, and laundry. Thursday is Songfest at USM- the kids love this. Friday Joey has a gig, and Saturday he has a gig- so I am all by myself to pack and get the kids ready to go. Sunday we are doing a fake Thanksgiving with the Odom's, and Monday is a Monday night football game. We leave Tuesday... Whew - I am worn out from typing it all!

Saturday I plan on doing any last minute shopping for vacation clothes and to pick up our Christmas Cards. I am going to take the picture Friday night (if I don't find time to do it earlier this week) and upload it to Walgreens I guess- I wanted to address them in the car on the way to Disney so that I can mail them as soon as we return. I have been very bad about getting cards out in a timely manner lately!

November is here

This is going to be an exciting and busy month. We are going to Disney in just 15 days. Let the countdown begin!
